Atlas Cannabis Club is operated by 2761767 Ontario Inc. (“we”, “us”, “our”), a cannabis retailer licensed by the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario, at 78 Bridge Street, Bradford, Ontario L3Z 3H2. This policy explains what happens to personal information when you use our website, atlascannabis.net. It follows Canada’s Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).

You must be 19 or older to use this website or to buy cannabis in Ontario.

Confirming your age

Before you can browse the site, you confirm that you are 19 or older. We store a small file in your browser (a cookie) so you are not asked again on every page. We do not keep your date of birth from this step.

Cookies

A cookie is a small file a website stores in your browser. We use them to remember your age confirmation, to remember your choice on our cookie banner, and to keep the site working. You can change or withdraw your choice at any time by clearing cookies in your browser. Blocking cookies may stop parts of the site working.

When you use our contact form

The form asks for your name, email address and message. It is sent to our store email address so we can reply to you. We use it for that purpose only. We keep it while we deal with your enquiry and delete it afterwards.

Our online menu and orders

Our menu is not run by this website. The menu on our Shop page is provided by TechPOS (Click & Collect) and loads from their system inside our page. When you browse it, create an account, place an order or pay, that information — including your name, contact details, order details and payment details — is collected and held by TechPOS and their payment processors, Payfirma and Converge, not by this website. A code identifying your shopping cart is stored in your browser so your cart is not lost while you move around the site. TechPOS’s own privacy policy applies to everything you do inside the menu: techpos.ca/privacy.

Advertising technology inside the menu

The TechPOS menu also loads technology from Surfside, a cannabis advertising and data company. Surfside states that it collects identifiers, internet and network activity information, commercial information, location information and inferences drawn from them, and uses them to build and activate audiences, deliver targeted advertising, measure and attribute advertising campaigns, and link devices, browsers and accounts into a single profile. Surfside shares this information with retailers, brands, advertising networks, measurement partners and identity-resolution providers.

This runs inside the menu, not on the rest of our website, and our cookie banner does not control it. You can opt out at surfside.io/optout, and Surfside states that it honours the Global Privacy Control signal where the law requires it.

Maps and fonts

Pages that show where we are include a Google map, and our pages load typefaces from Google Fonts. In both cases Google receives your IP address and may set its own cookies. Google’s privacy policy applies to that.

Website logs

Our web host keeps standard server logs — IP address, browser type, the pages requested and the time — which are used to keep the site secure and working.

What we do not do

• We do not sell your personal information.
• We do not send marketing email unless you ask us to, and you can unsubscribe at any time.
• We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 19.
• We do not use website analytics at this time. If we add it, we will update this policy first.

Who we share information with

Only with the companies needed to run the website and the menu: our web host, our email provider, TechPOS and its payment processors, and Surfside as described above. We also share information where the law requires it, including with the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario or Health Canada.

Where information is kept

Our website is hosted in North America and the menu runs on Microsoft Azure. Some of the companies named above are based in the United States, and information held there may be accessible to authorities under the laws of that country.

How long we keep information

We keep personal information only as long as we need it. Contact form emails are kept while we deal with your enquiry. Server logs are kept for a short period by our host. Order and account information is held by TechPOS under its own policy.

Keeping information safe

The site uses an encrypted (HTTPS) connection, and access to the website’s administration is limited to the people who need it. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect the information we hold.

Your rights

Under PIPEDA you can ask what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, and withdraw your consent, which may limit what we can do for you. Write to bradfordatlas@gmail.com and we will respond within 30 days. If your request is about an order, that information is held by TechPOS and we will pass your request on to them.

If you are not satisfied with our answer, you can complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada at priv.gc.ca or 1-800-282-1376.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page.
